Ravens Call, leaves drop
Rain falls on Greenwood
How we long to be away, away.....

Branches bare, Dawn comes
Mist so still, Grey days
Dreamed of far places
And crossing borders of pain...

Ravens call...Vermilion leaves are dancing in the breeze
Whoever understands will want to know
How we long to be away..On the open road
Gathering up the broken hearts so cast away

On the open road....Searching you out
beside the child you long to heal

Take the strain upon those ropes
Hoist the sails and we're afloat
And weathering boldly out on the deep
We're away now!!

Up the hills and over that ridge
Down the dales and aboard a boat
Down-river to dockside down by the sea-
All aboard now!!

And when we come to shore some weeks away
So many voices will come into play
Turn our ears to hear you alone...hear you alone

And you say, And you say...
You can reach out to me, However far you fall
If you can still call, Don't turn your back to me,
when you're against that wall When you can still call...

Will you come after me, Still a day, still a day
You had a dream, But couldn't face the consequence
Of loss and love betrayed
Of loss and love betrayed...still a day...still a day.

Ravens call...Vermilion leaves..Ocean sands
And when we come to shore some weeks away
So many voices will come into play
Tune our ears to hear you alone
Ocean sands..palm trees .
.sound of strange voices
Soon our ears hear you alone, Hear you alone
